BCBSAZ Health Choice Pathway is once again among Arizona’s highest-rated dual-eligible special needs plans for providing high-quality care and outstanding service for Medicare and AHCCCS (Medicaid) beneficiaries.
Why are star ratings important?
Medicare’s star rating system provides consumers with an easy, unbiased way to compare plans. Star ratings tell you how well the plan is performing and how satisfied their members are with it. A higher star rating means a higher quality plan. BCBSAZ Health Choice Pathway strives to continuously improve Star Ratings. Every year, Medicare evaluates plans based on a 5-star rating system.

BCBSAZ Health Choice Pathway provides a robust suite of care and disease management programs and care coordination services. Our multidisciplinary teams include physicians, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and others to support individual health literacy and self-management. We check our Quality Management Performance Measures to find areas for improvement to help more of our members use preventative services so that they can stay healthy!
